As work on the AMU Fiber To The Home project continues, AMU is making customers aware of where contractors are installing fiber. For the week of August 16, 2026, crews are in the following areas:

1. Royale Oaks Drive.

2. River Road/Plum Creek Areas.

3. The Good Samaritan Area.

4. Oak Lake.

Fiber is more reliable and provides faster internet speeds and higher bandwidths with reduced latency (lag time).” Fiber makes it easier for AMU Internet customers to use internet-driven technology in their homes and businesses.
